Tune your guitar using your microphone.
How to use
- Click Start Tuner and allow microphone access when prompted.
- Pluck one open string at a time, letting it ring out cleanly.
- The big letter shows the nearest pitch; the dial shows how many cents you are sharp (+) or flat (−).
- Aim for the indicator inside the green band (±5 cents).
- Need a non-standard pitch? Pick 432, 440, 441, or 443 Hz from the Reference row.
Tips
- Tune away from loud sources — air conditioners, background music, and other instruments add competing fundamentals that confuse pitch detection.
- New strings drift. Re-tune after the first few minutes of play, and again whenever the room temperature changes.
- Standard tuning is E A D G B E (low to high). The pegs at the bottom highlight the string you are aiming at.
